Campaign for America's Future Launches New Website
WASHINGTON - June 3 - There's a new web site for America's Future: The Campaign for America's Future and the Institute for America's Future are launching a completely redesigned and updated web site.

America's Future challenges the big money corporate agenda by encouraging Americans to speak up - to discuss and debate a new vision of an economy and a future that works for everyone. America's Future works on issues such as protecting Social Security, raising the minimum wage, and ensuring fair trade. also highlights broader issues and groups within progressive politics.

Recent items have included:

* The latest work of the New Century Alliance for Social Security, our massive alliance of citizen's groups defending Social Security from privatization

* Bob Borosage on a violation of the War Powers Act in Kosovo

* Why the Breaux-Thomas Medicare plan is "Bad Medicine"

"If you're looking for timely and insightful commentary on politics, and you value ideals like justice and equality, we've got the site for you," said Liz Kramer, Deputy Director of the Campaign and Institute. "We hope our new site design helps us reach more people and engages them in progressive politics," Kramer continued.

As always, America's Future will update the site weekly with their own work and with news and analyses from across the progressive spectrum.

Some of the new features of include:

*Enhanced navigation
*Easy to find information and analyses
*A whole new look to the site -- more graphics and appealing layout
*Searchable by issue will be officially launched on June 7, 1999.

America’s Future is a center of progressive research and education, founded by over 100 prominent Americans to make the economy work for working people. The Campaign and Institute are directed by Robert L. Borosage and Roger Hickey.
